Two arms, 180° of movement
The front loader arm lifts, tilts and dumps. The rear backhoe arm rotates through 180° so it can dig a proper trench instead of just scraping the surface. Both run on simple levers a small hand can actually work.

Is this JCB 3-in-1 excavator really officially licensed?
Yes. It's licensed by JCB, which is why the yellow-and-black livery, the 3CX badging, the roll-over protection frame and the ROPS-style canopy follow the real backhoe loader rather than approximating a generic digger.
How do the digging arms work?
The front loader bucket lifts, tilts and dumps, and the rear backhoe arm rotates through 180° with a dig lever and an arm lock. Both are manually operated on levers, exactly like the real machine.
Why is it called 3-in-1?
The seat reverses with one click, so the child can work the front bucket facing forward or swing round to dig a trench backwards with the rear arm. The roof, blade and bucket all detach as well — take them off for summer play or when the child outgrows the canopy.
