Since then, the seller has been very responsive, professional, and genuinely concerned about the issue. I appreciate how quickly they reached out and their willingness to help resolve the situation.
I still feel it's important to share what happened. We had only used the car about five times, exclusively on flat neighborhood streets and sidewalks, when the steering control arm detached during normal use. Thankfully, my child was not injured, but it was a frightening failure that could have resulted in a much more serious accident.
While the seller's customer service has been excellent, I also believe other parents should be aware of the potential safety issue we experienced. I'm hopeful this was an isolated manufacturing defect, but I wanted my review to accurately reflect both the product issue and the positive customer support we received.

Stylish Ride On with Good Features, but Assembly Takes TimeI bought this ride on car for my son’s birthday, and he was so excited the moment he saw it. The Dodge Charger design looks great, and the LED lights, Bluetooth, and hood mounted supercharger give it a realistic appearance. It has enough space for two younger kids to ride together, and the remote control is a helpful feature when they’re still learning to drive. The ride is smooth on pavement and short grass, and the battery lasts long enough for a good play session. The only reason I’m giving it four stars is that assembly took longer than I expected, and a few of the instructions could have been clearer. Once everything was put together, though, it worked well and has provided plenty of outdoor fun. Overall, it’s a solid ride on with a lot to like.
So many little details makes this a standout little ride on carI ordered this First Ride On 2 seater Dodge Charger kids electric vehicle for my children, ages 4 1/2 and 6 years old. They were both over the moon with this new little car and I have to agree it is pretty awesome. Both of my children could fit in together, although, they looked more comfortable riding alone. There is a high speed and a low speed and the difference between the 2 is quite astonishing. The low is very slow and the high speed I had to jog to keep up with them. This rode best on cement but worked almost as good on the flat yard and looked uncomfortably bumpy on our gravel. It does an admirable job going up small hills which surprised me as our last little electric tractor could not. There are safety harnesses for each child riding. The doors open and close. On the dashboard there is a button for: drive and reverse, lights, engine noise/smoke (requires 300 ml water added), play music and skipping through songs. There are 2 buttons on the steering wheel: one for horn, one for engine noise/smoke. There is only one pedal and once the child lifts their foot the car stops relatively fast. We didn't use the remote control but I like that that is an option for younger children. Overall, I can't really think of anything negative to say about this car as it is just an awesome little ride any kid would love.
The power wheel toy you wish you had growing upThis 1970 Dodge Charger R/T power wheel type car is awesome! These things have come a loooooooooong way from the stuff we had as kids. Battery power is amazing considering that it's driving dual motors and can hit 5 mph! That doesn't sound fast but it's blazing for a toddler. It has fully functioning lights, the engine has sound effects and even makes a mist that makes it look like the engine is really doing something. It would have been cooler coming out of an exhaust though. The radio can play bluetooth audio or you can plug in an old ipod and rock out. It has dual 3 point harnesses for your little one and a passenger. When they're really little, you can take over the driving duties by using the 2.4ghz remote. When they get a little older you can train them to drive with 3 speed settings, obviously locking them down to the slowest and once they get good at it, raising the limit to full. I've been enjoying this so much that I've actually started looking for the adult size version of the car and maybe letting my inner Dom loose! :)
